PDF Architect is capable of opening up PDFs, as well as any file that can be converted into a PDF.
- Click on the Menu in the left upper corner.
- Click on Open. Now you will need to choose which storage space to access for your file.
For this article we will display the Computer option, we have links to articles describing each storage space.
- You can choose to open one of your recent file folders or you can click on Browse to open a browse window to find your file. Once you’ve selected your file it will open.
You can also open files by dragging and dropping the file onto PDF Architect. This includes the desktop icon as well as the open application.
While using PDF Architect you can also use the hotkey CTRL + O to open the browse window to locate your files.

We have two additional modules. The OCR module allows you to recognize and edit text within any scanned document or image.
