You can download the latest version of PDF Architect here. Each web browser has slightly different instructions for launching the installer, they are described below. Click here to skip ahead to the first screen of the installation window.
You will see the popup below appear at the bottom of your Microsoft Edge window.
- Click Run.
The installer will now launch.
Internet Explorer follows the same flow.
Mozilla Firefox Users:
A popup will appear over the webpage.
- Choose Save File.
The installer will now download to your computer. You can find it in your Windows Download folder.
- Alternatively, click the download arrow.
- Choose the installer.
Installing PDF Architect
Depending on your system security settings, there are a couple of Windows notifications you may see. They will advise you that installing this application will make changes to your system.
These are standard notifications when installing or removing a software.
- Click Yes to proceed.
The PDF Architect Installer will now launch.
- Choose your preferred language.
- Click Next.
The core components of PDF Architect will begin to download and install. You can track its progress in the screen below.
Once the essentials are ready for use on your system, PDF Architect will launch. This allows you to start viewing documents as the rest is installed. Most features will be unavailable until the installation is completed.
You will also see a popup in the bottom right corner of your screen. From here you can monitor the progress as the remaining modules are installed.
- Click More Details.
You can choose to Pause or Cancel the installation of any module.
- Click on the action next to a module.
Closing this window will not impact the installation.
Once all the modules are installed, you will need to restart PDF Architect to finalize the installation process. The popup below will appear to confirm all modules are ready for use. You can continue viewing a PDF without restarting PDF Architect, but most functionality will not be available until you do.
- Click on Restart.
PDF Architect is now good to go.
The first time you open the application you will need to complete the Setup Wizard.
You’ll be asked to either create your account or to sign in. Click here for more instructions on how to create a PDF Architect Account.
Once your account is ready you can sign in.
- Click Sign In.
To login you should:
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click SIGN IN.
You will now be logged into PDF Architect, and ready to use your product. You’ll see a popup like the one below advertising the product you are currently using.
If you do not have a paid product, you will use the E-Sign14 day trial, along with PDF Architect Free. Otherwise you’ll see what you purchased.
- Click OK.
At any time, you can change your product to any on your account.
- Click your name in the top right corner.
- Choose Switch Product.
- Choose the product you want to use.
- Then choose SWITCH.
A popup will appear confirming the product you are now using.
- Click OK
