Depending on your version of PDF Architect license you may have a license key or your product may be managed through your PDF Architect Account.

Transferring a License managed Through your Account
With the release of PDF Architect 6, we have introduced a client account area. When using a PDF Architect Plan or Edition you can login and assign your license to a new device.
From your account area you can transfer a license that is already assigned to a user. You will first need to reset the license so that you can then assign it to a new user.
- Click MY ACCOUNT.
- Enter your credentials.
- Click Sign In.
You’ll see the My Products page where you can manage all your licenses. From this page you’ll unlock your license so it can be used on another system.
For PDF Architect Plans:
- Click the arrow to expand the product’s options.
- Click on a cross near the PC you want to unassign. You can repeat this process as many times as you need.
For PDF Architect Editions:
- Click the arrow to expand the product’s options.
- Click the dropdown arrow
- Choose Reset license.
A popup may appear advising you about any limits related to you re-assigning your license.
- Click Continue.
The email address will be replaced with Unassigned License.
- Click on the dropdown arrow.
- Choose Assign (or Assign to Me if you want to use the same email address).
- Enter the email address that should receive this license.
- Click Assign
The user whose email address you supplied will now receive an email prompting them to create a password. Once that is done, they can log in to the application and begin using it.

Transferring a License managed with a License Key
PDF Architect licenses are valid for only 1 activation at a time. The activation is stored in the registry of your computer. If you reformat your hard drive or decide to use PDF Architect on another system then you will need to contact our customer support team.
The agent will be able to disable your previous activation key. You will receive a new license key that is valid for 1 use.
