In this article, we'll walk you through the process of adding a new admin to your organization. When you create an admin, you can give define their role and give them access to manage users, products, or simply oversee a group.
- To start, use the left panel to navigate to the Admin page and click on Add a new admin.
- You can choose to add a new admin by adding them as a new user entirely to the organization or promote an existing user to an admin role.
How to make a new user become an admin.
- Start by clicking Create new admin.
- In the popup that appears, you can add the user’s First name, Last name, and Email. The user’s name is optional, while the email is required to create the new user.
- Once the personal information is done, you can assign group(s) to the admin to manage. The new admin will automatically be assigned to the “Unassigned” group in addition to any other groups assigned to them.
- Following this, you can then select which accesses you would like to assign to the admin. For details about the types of access to give, please see the admin role.
- Click Create admin to confirm the addition of the new admin.
- The new admin has now been successfully added to your organization. Any groups assigned to them and accesses are now in effect.
How to make an existing user become an admin.
- Start by clicking on Existing user.
- In the popup that appears, search and select the user that you would like to promote to an admin.
- Once you have selected the user, you can click on Make admin.
- You can then review their personal information if desired and proceed to assign group(s) to this new admin to manage. The new admin will automatically be assigned to the “Unassigned” group in addition to any other groups assigned to them.

- Click Create admin to confirm the role change.
- The user has now been successfully promoted to admin within your organization. Any groups assigned to them and accesses are now in effect.
