The snapshot tool is a way to accurately take a screenshot of an area of your PDF.
- Open the View Tab.
- Click Snapshot.
- Select Area Snapshot.
- Select an area you’d like to copy.
When you release your mouse button, the item will be copied to your computer’s clipboard.
- Select the Show in Folder option to open a folder with the snapshot made.
- Select the Open as PDF option to convert your snapshot to PDF and open it in the PDF Architect program.
- Save As option allows you to specify a name and location for the snapshot to be saved.
You can also find your snapshot in the Snapshot section.
- Click the three dots on any snapshot to access a set of the following options.
The Area Snapshot tool is also available in the context menu when your application is in the View mode.

Right-click anywhere on the document and select Take Snapshot in the context menu.
Page Snapshot
The Page Snapshot feature will let you capture the contents of an entire page so that you can paste it as an image elsewhere. This will work with pages of any size.
- Open the View Tab.
- Click Snapshot.
- Select Page Snapshot.
The page will be copied to your computer’s clipboard.
- Select the Show in Folder option to open a folder with the snapshot made.
- Select the Open as PDF option to convert your snapshot to PDF and open it in the PDF Architect program.
- Save As option allows you to specify a name and location for the snapshot to be saved.
